Swiss Art Awards 2025 – The world’s oldest art prize. From June 15–21 2026, Hall 1.1 at Messe Basel showcases current Swiss art and architecture. Free entry. Opening: June 16.

The Swiss art competition, which has been held annually since 1899, is the oldest art prize in the world. The accompanying exhibition of the Swiss Art Awards, organized by the Federal Office of Culture, offers a unique insight into current art and architecture in Switzerland. It is a valuable reference work for experts and art enthusiasts.

The jury consists of seven members of the Federal Art Commission elected by the Federal Council and five invited experts.
