From July 2 to 27, 2025, Basel proudly hosted the UEFA Women’s Euro 2025. The renowned St. Jakob-Park not only staged the opening and final matches but also three other thrilling games.

Fan zone at MesseQuartier Basel

Our Fan Zone at MesseQuartier Basel was the vibrant hub for football enthusiasts, families, and children. Visitors enjoyed a diverse selection of food and drinks and immersed themselves in an entertaining program for the whole family.

Super Sunday

Starting at 11 AM, an exciting program kicked off: attendees enjoyed thrilling tournaments on the Soccer Court, various shows, and musical entertainment by a DJ who set the right mood. The highlight of the day came at 9 PM: attendees joined us for the Public Viewing of the Switzerland vs. Iceland match, taking place in Bern. It was an unforgettable football day for the whole family!

How to get there

Tram

Lines 1, 2, 6, 14 and 15 will bring you to the MQ – alight at "Messeplatz".

Car

MesseQuartier Basel is located at the “Messe” exit of the A2 motorway. This exit takes you directly to the Messe Basel car park.

Train

Basel Badischer Bahnhof railway station is just a few minutes’ walk away, and we’re only a short tram ride from Basel SBB railway station. You can reach the us by tram from both stations.

On foot

The MesseQuartier is within walking distance of most places in Basel.
