The MesseQuartier forms the heart of Basel's Eurovision Song Contest fan zone this year. Easily accessible and clearly structured, it is the ideal meeting place for fans, artists and delegations. The diverse indoor and outdoor spaces of the Messe und Congress Center Basel will attract visitors with numerous events and offers. Here, visitors can immerse themselves in the musical experience of the year, create memories and celebrate new experiences.
With the Eurovision Village and EuroClub & Café, the MQ is creating a diverse, inclusive setting for concerts, public viewings, exuberant parties and much more. We look forward to creating an inviting ESC hotspot for warm encounters, electrifying emotions and international music moments.
Basel is also celebrating its role as a city of culture with art in public spaces. On the exhibition square, Claudia Comptes' 52-meter-long, walk-in installation “Lightning Symphony” transforms sound into an all-round physical experience. As the artistic centerpiece of the ESC in Basel, the Lightning Symphony is a vibrant celebration of rhythm, community and the unifying power of sound. This is an experience not to be missed.
