Eurovision Village - music and emotions
The Eurovision Village at the MQ is the “place to be” for all ESC fans: from 10 to 17 May, live concerts, public viewings and a supporting program full of surprises will take place here - all in Hall 1. Admission is free, the atmosphere is priceless.
Program
In the Eurovision Village, fans and curious visitors can immerse themselves in the world of the ESC. Over the course of a week, an activating program will provide fun and inspiring moments - with concerts, public viewings, DJs and much more. There will also be plenty of merchandise and delicious food.
Tanja Dankner, Odette Hella'Grand and Joël von Mutzenbecher will host the daily stage program.
Former Swiss ESC acts such as Remo Forrer, Luca Hänni, Timebelle, Sinplus and Anna Rossinelli will provide the musical atmosphere, and we can also look forward to international stars such as Conchita Wurst, Michael Schulte & Band and 1990s icons Rednex and SNAP. The program is rounded off by ABBA Gold - The Concert Show, local choirs and music groups.
Diversity and emotion
The Eurovision Village is divided into three zones and offers something for everyone:
In the activation zone in the entrance area, Eurovision sponsors create surprising interactive experiences.
The Village core zone in the center of Hall 1 invites visitors to linger and enjoy a variety of experiences. Here, the Village Stage attracts visitors with live concerts and the LoveCloud - a 32-meter-long, floating art installation - forms the pulsating heart of the event. Charged with emotion and animated with projections, it creates a unifying experience.
Visitors can also enjoy refreshments in the food court in the core zone. The bars and food trucks run by regional suppliers offer something for every taste. Mainly vegetarian dishes, reusable tableware, waste separation and a zero food waste concept ensure that enjoyment does not come at the expense of the environment.
Last but not least, Eurovision delegations and former ESC stars will create a party atmosphere in the event zone at the back of the Village. On May 13, 15 and 17, we will also be broadcasting the live Eurovision Song Contest shows here.
